New blood delivers sales success in NSW
7 August 2015
The sales teams in New South Wales have achieved almost 30 per cent growth since January in the western branches, including Lithgow, Bathurst, Mudgee and Dubbo.
The 7 per cent increase month on month is due to an influx of new blood in the form of four new appointments, marketplace aggression and strong support by the western branches, says Area Manager, NSW, Nathan Mitschuinig.
The new additions are: geographical account managers Glenn Davis to the Lithgow and Bathurst branches; Ant Tuit to Mudgee, and branch managers Ben Hudson to Dubbo and Shane Dennis to Mudgee. Roving support is provided by sales coordinator Brian Bell from Bathurst, relief branch manager Paul Bradford and Mitschuinig.
“They have a definite sales hunger,” Mitschuinig says of the new staff, “and we’re taking a more proactive approach. We’re providing assets in the fleet to cater toward specific markets and better serve our customers.”
The western branches are also leveraging synergies in the team and the experience they have as a whole, he says.
“Paul and I move around quite frequently and other staff also visit multiple branches. We’re heavily involved in teamwork.”
As for future goals: “Next year,” Mitschuinig says, “we’re looking to supply 10 to 15 per cent more than this year.”
