The Coates Hire Ipswich 300 is back for another year of thrills and spills as V8 Supercars are ready to lap-it-up at Queensland Raceway, August 3-5.
Proudly Australia’s largest equipment hire company, Coates Hire have long been an avid supporter and loyal sponsor of V8 Supercars with 2012 being no different.
Coates Hire is the official naming rights sponsor for the ninth event on the V8 Supercar calendar and the official equipment supplier for the V8 Supercar Championship at large.
Hosting one of South-East Queensland’s largest events, Coates Hire play a significant role in the success of what is renowned to be a weekend full of world class racing.
Stars such as Garth Tander, Craig Lowndes, Jamie Whincup, Mark Winterbottom, Will Davison and Russell Ingall have all won at Queensland Raceway. They are joined by the strongest field in the history of V8 Supercars with 28 drivers racing within a second of each other.
Queensland hero Lowndes won all three races last year and is still in the hunt for this year’s Championship crown.

The Coates Hire Ipswich 300 is expected to draw crowds of 50,000 and is promising to be three days of red-hot racing, with drivers out to gain serious points as they enter the latter half of the championship.
After the success of last year’s three race format, fans can expect another year of high-speed, action packed racing along with plenty of entertainment for the whole family.
Children will be in their element with the return of Disney Pixar’s Cars Truck Tour, Mack the Transporter and for the first time, kids can get up close to the famous Lightning McQueen.
Supporting categories include the future stars of V8 Supercars in the Dunlop Series, Formula Ford, Formula 3 and Touring Car Masters.
