BMD Northcliffe SLSC Sponsorship saves lives

The construction industry gives generously to community organisations, especially those that focus on safety.
Coates Hire’s key customer BMD Group shares another connection, outside of the construction business. BMD is the official naming rights sponsor of the BMD Northcliffe Surf Life Saving Club.
Off the back of this partnership, Coates Hire has stepped in to support the same club with its branding set to appear on the club’s inflatable rescue boats.
BMD Northcliffe is one of Australia’s premier surf life saving clubs having won the past 10 Australian Surf Life Saving Club Championship point score titles. Coates Hire’s newest ambassador, two-time Australian Ironwoman champion Courtney Hancock (pictured at left), is also a member of the Gold Coast club.
Coates Hire shares in this support through its surf lifesaving involvement with the Coffs Harbour Surf Lifesaving Club and the Nutri-Grain Ironman Series, with Hancock recently presenting Coates Hire Orange nipper boards to the Coffs Harbour club on the company’s behalf.
“Historically Coates Hire has had a strong relationship with BMD,” says Business Development Manager Nick Moloney, “providing it with plant solutions for over 30 years, initially with their urban development projects and then, as they have grown to become a major player in the civil infrastructure market, throughout Australia.”
Group Manager, Strategic Marketing Jeremy Hill says, “Our involvement with surf lifesaving is important, as the safety values and our contribution to the community reflect those of Coates Hire.”
