Featured 'Chariot of Hire' Week 6: Telehandler
17 April 2013
This week, Coates Hire Racing’s very own Nick Percat, swaps his Porsche Carerra for a ruggard Coate Hire Telehandler - very safely and cautiously of course!
Telehandlers are designed to meet the needs of many construction and building sector applications. Coates Hires’s range offers lifting heights between 5m and 17m for 2t to 4t loads.
Many attachments are also available to optimise working time on the project site and to improve task-specifc productivity.
Knowing when to use a telehandler versus an alternative such as a heavy forklift will often depend on a few factors:
- Telehandlers are the best machines where lift and reach are combined.
- Telehandlers are also ideal for large industrial jobs: Our Tele’s feature spacious cabs and suspension seats to keep you comfortable all day and the single lever joystick operates all boom functions for maximum productivity.
- Telehandlers are ideal where terrain is variable: Multiple steering modes offer improved maneuverability on any terrain.
- Versatility is maximized with tools and attachments to meet a vast range of applications. These include brooms, buckets, forks, Jibs etc. Click here to view info on attachments.
Our tough and regularly serviced telehandlers are available at specialist Coates Hire branches nationwide. Click here to find your nearest branch.
