Locate and identify underground assets training equips you with skills to assist you in the planning of excavation jobs and interpreting dial before you dig service plans. Successful completion of the course will also gain competence in the unit RIICCM202D.

Statement of Attainment for the following unit of competency:

  • RIICCM202D – Identify, locate and protect underground services
  • Trainee Card
  • Ability to read and correctly interpret complex signage; speak clearly and unambiguously in English; and to explain, describe and verify sometimes complex needs and issues. Writing is required to the level of completing workplace forms.
  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Participants should endeaver to bring an Electronic Locator and Gas Detector wherever possible.
