For those who are required to conduct regular inspections on height safety equipment.

This working at heights course will qualify you for a working at Heights ticket required to prove you understand the safety implications of height work. Covers the RIIWHS204D unit of competency regarding hazards, tools & equipment and operational plans.

This course covers the competency required to undertake safe working practices when working at heights or depths and includes:

  • Personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Tools and equipment
  • Emergencies and reporting incidents
  • Dismantle safety system
  • Clear work area and tidy up
  • Check and store equipment

Statement of Attainment for the following unit of competency:

  • RIIWHS204D – Work Safely At Heights
  • Trainee Card
  • Ability to read and correctly interpret complex signage; speak clearly and unambiguously in English; and to explain, describe and verify sometimes complex needs and issues.  Writing is required to the level of completing workplace forms
  • Must be at least 16 years of age
